Week nine of the Indoor Bowling Leagues started with the top two teams in the Premier Pairs Cheesemakers and Young Guns meeting to play out a 2-2 draw while third placed Villans beat GLS 4-0 to close the gap on the leaders. The bottom of the table pairing TOU now seem to be finding some form and they beat Tee Pegs 4-0 while Radical Heads also had a 4-0 victory over Orange Peelers. This then leaves Young Guns on top with 24 points, Cheesemakers in second place on 23 points with Villans third with 21 points.

Second Division Pairs

The Second Division Pairs is proving to be a closely contested battle between Reckless Rollers and Sunset Rollers which I feel will go all the way to the end of the season. On this occasion Reckless Rollers didn’t play and Sunset Rollers were pushed hard by Cowley Cannonballs before winning 3-1 while Woodbourne Reds moved onto third place after beating Sensibles 4-0 and Girl Power beat Smooth Matters 4-0. This leaves Reckless Rollers top on 26 points with Sunset Rollers second on the same number of points and Woodbourne Reds third on 19 points.

The Premier Teams saw long time leaders Villans beat Birdies 4-2 while Cheesemakers had a 6-0 victory over Saltire and Ramsey Raiders beat DNA 4-2.
